Released in 1977, Into Something (Can’t Shake Loose) is one of O.V. Wright’s last records—and one of his most haunted. Backed again by the Hi Rhythm Section and produced by Willie Mitchell, the album glows with Memphis soul textures, but the emotional weight runs deeper: grief, devotion, regret, and grit all wrapped around Wright’s scorched, gospel-schooled voice.

This is the original 1977 Japanese pressing on Hi Records (VIP-6461), complete with obi strip and Japanese insert. The cover is VG+ with normal shelf wear; vinyl is NM, beautifully preserved and glossy.
