File this one under: beautifully unhinged. On this limited 7”, Paul Elliott and Shawn Lee lean all the way into their shared love of oddball library sounds, turning scraps, textures, and offbeat ideas into something that somehow really grooves. “Bass Sick Bitch” stumbles in with toy-like rhythms and voice memo fragments before snapping into a low-slung breakbeat, loose, funky, and built for heads who like their drums a little crooked. On the flip, “Honey Roast Nuts” starts with percussion literally played on a snack tin, then drifts into a sun-faded mix of ukulele, synth haze, and warm basslines, interrupted by warped tape moments and left turns that keep you guessing. It’s playful, strange, and deeply rhythmic, like a studio experiment that accidentally turned into a dancefloor weapon. Not for everyone, but if it clicks, it really clicks.
