Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist Simon Herody crafts a quietly immersive listening experience on Hard Lounge, an eight-track blend of ambient electronic and exploratory jazz. Originally shaped through half-improvised solo sets in hotel lobbies, where sequenced synths met live sax, clarinet, and flute, the album carries the hushed atmosphere of those in-between spaces: part background drift, part attentive deep listen.
