At its core, Outer Frequencies is an online shop focused on underground and independent vinyl spanning jazz, soul, rare grooves, global rhythms, hip-hop, and experimental sounds. Each release is selected with care, with an emphasis on records that stand the test of time.

Outer Frequencies was founded by Dylan Dekay-Bemis, a writer, curator, and lifelong music obsessive with a passion for helping people discover music they might not find on their own.

What began as a music discovery project eventually grew into a record shop, publication, playlist platform, and music direction practice built around a simple idea: great music is worth sharing.

Today, Dylan curates records, playlists, and recommendations for a global community of music lovers while helping hospitality spaces develop thoughtful, memorable musical identities.
