Born out of a road trip, a stack of soul tapes, and the strange quiet of the pandemic, Theodor is a self-titled debut steeped in psychedelic sweet soul and unhurried groove. The band channels a moody, relaxed atmosphere, with music that feels sun-dazed and inward-looking. Playful melodic basslines and supple, soulful drums set the foundation for warm, dreamy keys: Farfisa organs, Fender Rhodes, and soft ’80s synth tones drifting in and out. Dual vocals from Max and Lui intertwine with easy chemistry, adding texture rather than flash.
