It’s a record that captures the groove-heavy side of west coast jazz without sacrificing depth: swinging hard, simmering slow, and always grounded in the blues.

Amy’s tone is rich and conversational, Bryant’s organ lines warm and unhurried. The group stretches out on originals like “Searchin’” and the title track, balancing elegance and grit with classic early-’60s poise.

This is the 1992 Japanese reissue on Pacific Jazz (PJ-0009), pressed with beautiful fidelity and attention to detail. Includes the obi strip and Japanese-language insert. Cover is Near Mint, and the vinyl is NM, glossy and unplayed-looking.
