Domenique Dumont - Deux Paradis

Domenique Dumont’s fourth album, Deux Paradis, unfolds like a daydream made danceable. Across ten tracks, the duo traces a subtle arc from morning to night: the candy-striped dub of “Enchantia” wakes the senses, while pixelated reggae grooves on “La Vie Va” and the sensuous rush of “Amants Ennemis” carry the sun’s slow descent. Twilight falls across shimmering pop in “The Order of Invisible Things” and the seductive pulse of “Visages Visages,” while the baroque swoon of the title track and the soft exotica of “Visiteur de la Nuit” deepen the album’s nocturnal mood. 

Returning vocalist Anete Stuce brings her inimitable joie de vivre to the mix, weaving effortlessly with Arturs Liepins’s instrumental compositions to produce music that feels timeless, romantic, and quietly cinematic. Recorded between 2022 and 2024 in Riga, Paris, and the Estonian island of Hiiumaa, Deux Paradis completes a trilogy alongside Comme Ça (2015) and Miniatures De Auto Rhythm (2018), offering the richest, most expansive statement of Domenique Dumont’s signature blend of understated electronica, sensuality, and wistful storytelling to date.
