World Inversion sees Massachusetts-based dub band Flying Vipers flipping their Off World album inside out, reworking its material through a deep, playful dub lens that feels equal parts classic and curious. Echoes, dropouts, and ghostly melodica lines twist familiar rhythms into new shapes, while guest appearances from Earl Sixteen and Roger Miller (of Mission of Burma) push the record into unexpected territory. Across ten tracks (including one brand-new instrumental) the Vipers stretch grooves until they wobble, then snap back into focus, extending their off-kilter universe with patience and imagination. Pressed on "Fang White" vinyl and limited to just 200 copies.
