At just 22, São Paulo–based artist Nina Maia delivers a debut of rare depth and originality. Inteira (“whole”) blends the intimacy of Brazilian songwriting with the moody textures of trip-hop, jazz, and leftfield pop. Drawing as much from Milton Nascimento and Clube da Esquina as from Portishead and Billie Eilish, the album bridges eras and genres with striking ease.

Backed by a stellar ensemble and co-produced by Seloki Records’ Yann Dardenne, Maia crafts songs that feel timeless yet forward-looking—lushly arranged, emotionally raw, and filled with quiet confidence. From the haunting “Gosto Meio Doce” to the luminous new track “Manhã,” Inteira captures the voice of a rising Brazilian artist defining her own sound and story.
