On Güle Güle, synth wizard Romano steps into his own world, stitching together funk, disco, reggae, and Middle Eastern groove into something playful and cinematic. Built largely in solitude among vintage keyboards, the album feels untethered from place or time. It's nostalgic yet fresh, rooted in Turkish, Egyptian, Balkan, and Afro-diasporic rhythms while never settling into one lane.
