Irish producer The Expert returns with Vivid Visions — a kaleidoscopic trip through modern indie rap that blurs the line between beat tape, producer album, and surrealist cinema. Inspired by The Monkees’ 1968 album Head, Twin Peaks, and the psychedelic pop chaos of Sgt. Peppers, the record plays like a technicolor dream sequence, equal parts dusty, soulful, and strange.

Across its 21 tracks, Vivid Visions brings together a stacked cast of underground voices including Blu, Stik Figa, Defcee, NAHreally, Buck 65, and AJ Suede, each delivering verses that stretch across moods and dimensions. The production is deep and cinematic, with glitchy beats that dissolve into hazy jazz loops and basslines that ripple like heat mirages.
