On Legends, Wilson Tanner return to land, specifically the rolling vines of Manon Farm in South Australia, to craft their most organic and quietly transportive record yet. The duo of Andrew Wilson and John Tanner weave together piano, clarinet, strings, and faint electronics into something that feels both pastoral and otherworldly.

Where their earlier work drifted along rivers and open seas, Legends is rooted in the soil. You can almost hear the hum of insects, the snip of shears, the rhythm of farm life moving through each track. Songs like “Cherry” and “Grasshopper” evoke late-summer heat and quiet motion, while “Hogshead” and “Old Vine” turn the sounds of the land into abstract melody.
