Owelu Dreamhouse is a deeply felt debut, the new collaboration between vocalist Nkechi Anele and multi-instrumentalist Nic Ryan-Glenie, rekindling the creative bond they formed in the iconic Melbourne soul band Saskwatch. Rooted in cinematic soul, psychedelia, and Afrobeat, the album moves through questions of heritage, identity, and belonging with warmth and clarity. Produced by Henry Jenkins of Surprise Chef and drawing from West African records, 90s R&B, jazz, and global dance music, the songs balance joy and reflection.
